These orders are issued and overseen by the same judge who is handling the divorce. I work with clients who have been domestic violence victims to make sure that they understand their rights and assist them in obtaining the Personal Protection Order, and to take practical additional steps to protect themselves.

I also represent individuals who have been accused of abuse, informing them of their options and working to make sure the allegations do not harm their ongoing divorce or other family law case. False accusations are often an issue during a contentious divorce; you can rely on me to make sure you receive a fair hearing and to press for restoration of your right to enter your home and spend time with your children.
